During WWII, the German Kübelwagen was greatly used at many fronts including North Africa. It was of a simple construction and came powered by a tough air-cooled engine and was greatly trusted by the German soldiers. The Kübelwagen type 82 which was seen at North Africa, featuring balloon type tires which allowed it to perform even on the desert sands, is now realized as a plastic assembly model kit.
