B-24H Liberator ‘Witchcraft’ 790th BS, 467th Bomb Group Rackheath. 100 missions completed 14th January 1945.

Not many B-24s managed to complete 100 missions without aborting a single flight over Western Europe – happily this was one of them, as the impressive tally of raids on the nose shows.  The achievement was rare enough that, unusually, all of the ground crew assigned to the aircraft received awards.
